Greetings!
Jorde Jones is a Public Relations scholar at Florida A&M University (FAMU) with a passion for storytelling, event production, and strategic communication. This capstone website represents my academic and professional journey at FAMU.
As a musician and poet, he blends his creative writing experience to shed light on FAMU, FSU, TSC, and the general Tallahassee community. Before transferring to FAMU, Jorde served as a student representative for the Decons and Stewards Alliance and Sons of Allen in Bartow, Florida, where he regularly speaks to community members’ children and volunteers at local church events.
Throughout his time at FAMU, he has gained hands-on experience in Leadership, event production, and storytelling through:
- WANM-FM 90.5 – On-Air Personality & Assistant Program Director/Music Director
- Journey Magazine – Staff Writer
- The FAMUAN- Staff Writer & Photographer
- Grammy U – Member of the organization
- Oak View Group- Live Entertainment Production cohort
This portfolio shows how he merges storytelling with strategy and creativity, combining consistency and an intense work ethic to lead by example, build strong connections, and set a precedent for those following in the same path.
